Job Title: Agile Delivery Manager - UK Public Sector

Summary: As an Agile Delivery Manager in the UK public sector, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of projects that align with the government's priorities. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with government stakeholders to align project goals with broader public sector strategies.
Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for project delivery.
Agile Project Management:
Lead and guide project teams using agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while adhering to government guidelines.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with government officials, external partners, and relevant agencies.
Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
Compliance and Regulations:
Ensure that project activities adhere to all relevant regulations, security standards, and compliance requirements within the public sector.
Monitor and report on any regulatory changes that may impact project delivery.
Resource Management:
Allocate resources efficiently, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to support project objectives.
Manage dependencies and mitigate resource constraints.
Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and manage project risks, working closely with relevant teams to develop mitigation plans.
Ensure the security and privacy of sensitive government data throughout the project lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement:
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project teams.
Implement best practices and evaluate project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Administration, Project Management) or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience in Agile Delivery Management within the UK public sector or a closely related field.
Strong knowledge of government regulations, compliance, and security standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Certification in agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner) is highly desirable.
Familiarity with government procurement processes and contract management is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Agile Facilitation:
Act as a servant leader for the Agile team, helping to facilitate the team's work and remove impediments.
Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Team Empowerment:
Foster a culture of self-organization and continuous improvement within the team.
Provide guidance and support to the team in implementing Agile methodologies effectively.
Product Backlog Management:
Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
Ensure the backlog is well-defined, estimated, and ready for sprint planning.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Facilitate communication and collaboration between the development team and stakeholders.
Manage stakeholder expectations and provide transparency into the team's progress.
Metrics and Reporting:
